Covid Safety Plan January 2022

Fitness Studio is open as of January 20 - Covid Protocol in place - pre-registration required - my account

Overview of KEY SAFETY MEASURES:
• HEATH CHECK: Stay HOME if you feel ill, have covid-19 symptoms, or have been directed to self-isolate
• SANITIZE your hands on arrival to the facility and regularly throughout the visit
• Vaccination protocols remain in place. Everyone over the age of 12 must provide proof of vaccine, except for youth ages 12-21 in youth-only programs
• Everyone over 5 should be wearing a MASK allllllll the time– except when in the pool and/or actively exercising
• KEEP your DISTANCE – respect people's space and stay 2 meters away from those who are not in your "bubble" in all areas of the facility. Watch for congestion at our pinch points, stand back and wait for walkways to be clear, this includes our small bootroom
• Aquatic programs where masks cannot be worn have been adapted to create a safer working environment for staff and participants Updated Covid Safety Plan Supplement 
• Capacity for public spaces remain at 50%, and we are encouraging distancing in programs and classes

  • Pool-side natatorium (all pools & viewing area): 87people ** but usually reduced to max. 49 or 74 people due to staffing!
  • Climbing Wall and Court area: 25 people.

• One-way traffic is still in place, COME DRESSED for your activity of choice and avoid using the changerooms on the way in when possible
• Functional Facility closures; when staff members are sick or need to isolate we are aware of the risk of staff burnout and respect staff decisions when doing our best to find staffing coverage. There might be facilities closures and we appreciate your patience.

 Suana
• strongly recommend a maximum of 2 household units, (max 4 people total) sitting 2M apart
• there will be a waitlist, with a 15-minute limit

Gym
• limited to 4 people at a time
• back to pre-booking, for 1 hour on the hour - online here My account ActiveNet
• keep your distance, take turns on machines to allow the 2.5 meters
• wear your mask at all times when not actively exercising

Fitness Programs
• Will be starting on January 25. There are limited class sizes to accommodate distancing requirements.
• Masks on while not exercising and distance between instructors and participants enforced

Jan 17, 2022 UPDATE: Extension/adaption of the BC PHO December 21, 2021 circuit breaker impact   All Memberships that were put on hold until January 18 have now been reinstated.

The following changes are in place as of January 20 to February 16, 2022:

NOW OPEN with LIMITS: 

  • Fitness Studio - limited to 4 people
  • Sauna - limited to 2 people
  • Fitness programs
  • Courts
  • Climbing Wall - 50% capacity - limited to 15 people
  • Pool Natatorium  - 50% capacity

We still cannot host any tournaments.
