Why Wellness is Important to Workplaces

Option 1: PAY-PER-PLAY PROGRAM

Employers sponsor their employees and families to come to the Pool and Recreation Centre. The Pool and Recreation Centre provides a monthly invoice for the total number of drop-in visits. For businesses with over 15 employees, a 5% discount off the monthly invoice.

Option 2: WELLNESS ALLOWANCE

Employers can set up a monthly or annual wellness allowance for 10-passes, memberships or programs for their employees.

Option 3: ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS

For businesses with over 30 employees. The discount on annual memberships increases with the number of memberships signed on to the program. Get 10 employees and receive 10% off. 15 receive 15% off, and 20 and over receive 20% off.

The number of memberships for the discount rate is based on a maximum of one membership per household. (more than one can be discounted)

Workplaces with under 25 employees – create a “group” of “like” businesses that are connected by a common goal. For example, all the car dealerships or restaurants join forces. Alternatively, all small business chamber members can create one “group”.

How It Works:

Collect a list of committed employees and submit it to the pool (this list sets the discount rate)

Pick a start date; all memberships must start on the same date.

• Extensions and pro-rated refunds only available for re-location or medical reasons
• Extensions may result in this membership being bumped off the corporate group

Group members/employees register and pay for memberships at the pool (the discount rate is subject to change commitment employee numbers are not met)

What Memberships Are Available?

All types of facility annual memberships qualify. The Pool and Gym or Full Facility (Pool, Gym, Courts and Climbing Wall).

The discount can be applied to all membership types, Child, Youth, Family and Adult.

The discount can be applied to all common-law partners or dependants (1-19) living in the same household wishing to also purchase a membership.

Exceptions:

• Retired employees cannot be a part of the group
• Senior rates are not eligible for discounts
